Treasure Hunting in the Jungle
« on: April 01, 2019, 08:17:04 AM »
I've been posting reports of our Congo campaign in the Colonial forum, but to be honest I think Congo lends itself more to pulp. Let me know if you agree and I'll post more here.

In this installment of our campaign our heroine (Mary) and her Fang tribe foe Ujuwa, hack their way through dense jungle in pursuit of ancient ruins and lost treasure.

Or if you want to follow the story from the beginning, start here:

Here's a few photo teasers from our latest game. More on the blog.

Amazing terrain and table , I particularly like the crouching big cat . It’s great to play linked scenarios. Looks like a Herge’s Adventures of Tin Tin book brought to the table .

Very nice!

What’s your source for the fan palms?

Cheers, I'll post other Congo games here. I have a Dino Safari participation game planned for Broadside Wargames Show.

Palms and other plants are all sourced from eBay.

The latest game in our Congo campaign was 'Encounters in Hostile Lands'.

Here are a few photos of the action. Watch out for enraged elephants...

Always watch out for enraged elephants!  Especially if you are down to your last package of peanuts.
