Last Tuesday night saw the first in another series of test games for INSURGENT EARTH, the upcoming, post alien invasion rule set.
Having taken refuge in a nearby national park, a rookie Resistance cell finally mustered the courage to go back into their home town for badly needed supplies.
First stop was Sid's Garage...

It was a close fought deal. The Venetians had my frenchmen in the bag several times but I managed to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat.

This was last weekend, but considering they were the last miniature games I played, they still count.

I played 4 very different games at Poldercon:

2 vs 2 Fallout was the first one, 1 vs 1 Open Combat was second, and after lunch, I played the abovementioned excellent Spectre Operations in a 1 vs 1 game, and finally a 2 vs 2 Black Seas game to round off the day

Sorry; in the fury of my orc assault on the halfling village, I forgot to take any more shots. It was a wonderful table, and it actually won 1st prize for being the nicest one at the con.

I checked the official Poldercon site, but oddly enough, there are no pictures of it there at all!
