lol, nope.  I took a break from writing CCC...and decided to spend my downtime creating Merciless...which led to the creation of Scrapheap.  My goal is simple; never release another game..apparently.

It's my buddy's dungeon and minis, makes it easier than forcing me to pull all mine out :D

My Griff led Ogre team took on a necromantic team helmed by Frank N Stein to a score of 2-2, in week 2 of our local Blood Bowl league.

Sell Swords and Spell Slingers.
Scenario based on The Wagon Train.
Worked quite well.

Blood bowl sevens

No cool stadium or electronic scoreboard unfortunately but at least they got a run out.  A tight victory 1-0 to the Orc Rams vs West Elm Reanimated.

Our fantasy campaign of the Belmainian Civil War ends in a (another) resounding victory for Queen Indrana at the Battle of Folga (it will appear in our website as soon as I get a decent internet connection to upload it.
EDIT - Now uploaded http://www.morvalearth.co.uk/ME_Belmain_Civil%20War/Belmain_civil_war_8_Battle_of_Folga.htm
The initial set up, my seriously outnumbered forces (The Ever Victorious Army of Queen Indrana) is on the right.

Queen Parsifa's forces attack

The attack on my right defeated I turn my attention to enemy on my left

The End

Got a little 2x2 game of 'Munda in the other week using Galactic Heroes. 2x2 because that's all the terrain I have for it at the moment  lol

Ended up being a blood bath but it was fun nonetheless  :)

So many inspiring games!

My son and I got together yesterday to go Old School, with a game of Charge! using our 40mm home cast imagi-nation troops.  Regrettably we had to squeeze to get things on a 5x6 table, but it was a good game:

I find these sort of shots the most inspiring as they best represent the sort of space  that I use.

I'm just happy seeing people gaming.  Unfortunately (disclaimer: minor gripe ahead) my gaming group has become more and more "talk about and buy" and less "paint and play".  My group chat is nothing but talking about buying things...and complaining about rules...for games no one plays.  Meanwhile I've found a few guys I can just actually game with - and we get hobby stuff done and actually play games.  lol

So anyone actually rolling dice and doing the actual hobby...get a big thumbs up from me.

Love all the inspiring games above.

Herewith a Fistful of lead game which had 4 players each on their own side. Played this on Fathers Day which was rather special. Even my wife joined in and enjoyed it which was fantastic.

First game of Fistful of lead using magic with house rules. Essentially work much like traits and cost an action to caste - in future games will allow one to spend 2 actions to cast 1 spell if you want to boost its power so for argument's sake let's say it is a bless spell and provides a +1 then one could boost it by using two actions and instead gain a +2 bless.  Each side was largely equal except my own which was significantly underpowered but oddly caused much fear and contention by the enemy players - so some nice friction and psychological effects in play too.
