Beautiful looking games Vagabond.  If I may ask, what do you use for the landforms, is it MDF, carpet tile?

Cheers, the tiles are hardboard in the UK, removed from wood panelled doors that had been flushed in the 1960's. They had lots of gloss paint on one side which probably stopped them warping when I applied some form of texture. I recently renovated them using a flexible spray adhesive and flock. I would strongly recommend the adhesive, it's not solvent based and has held the flock securely for a couple of years now.

Mondays game had the SAS attempting to blow up a German Staff car, you can just see the bonnet of the car in the centre of the village.

This nonsense is based on the German invasion of East Anglia, for more information on this undocumented event in WWll you need to look at the Pulp Board.

This is Major Lord Hereward Carew 'Tubby' Snapcase laying the demolition charges in direct street light. He remained undetected by the German guards, even when the charge went off prematurely, propelling him 10 feet into the air. He landed on his feet and escaped with all his troops. The only notable success for the Germans was when a dog handler let his dog loose and it demolished most of Lady Verity 'Peaches' Snapcase (SOE) lower uniform. Unfortunately the dog was shot by another member of the assault team before their withdrawal.

Tuesday Mornings Game

Shoot out at Big Jim's Corral, the Bystanders refused to be Bystanders.

The Judge (in black) and Mary had a falling out and decided to resolve it on Main Street, they were backed up by various friends and hanger's on. The Judge went for his gun first but was distracted by the pretty girls on the balcony and fired last.  ::)

Then the sand storm hit, causing some confusion due to poor visibility.

The stampede came as a bit of a shock as well, no one saw it coming because of the sand storm.  ;)

'Barmy' Bertram Snapcase is the chap hiding behind the sign on the left and Whiskey Jack, bottle in hand took a dislike to one of the Judges friends and fired both barrels of his shotgun in their direction, but missed.

After the sand storm and the stampede had passed so had a lot of other cowpokes.

Passed that is.  :)

Texas Red was shot in the back by a grumpy old timer who objected to being woken up, Whiskey Jack was wounded and lay in a pool of his own blood, Barmey Snapcase was shot down by some one but I couldn't see who done it due to the dust. ;)

Sorry to monopolise the thread, there's only Tuesday afternoons game to post.

Wow Vagabond that was epic. Love the set up and your mini's. One question where did you get the long horns? I would love to get some of them for my collection. Thanks for any info you can share.

Tuesday Afternoons Game

The Mabel Street Mob break into the Little Whiskey Town Bank.

It didn't go to plan.

There was some difficulty with the Bank Manager and the Safe combination, so they reversed at high speed into the back of the bank. That brought the police running from the station next door.

That might not have been a good idea.

An innovative way to rob a bank. How they are going to open the safe we still don't know.

So ended 4 days of games with the Mad Lord Snapcase. I enjoyed it immensely.

Part of an ‘Epic’ battle - or at least a part of it that has been painted :)

there are a lot of figures to get through and I just don’t see the point in not being able to get a game to the table until everything is painted …. It is an ongoing project with enjoyment along the way.
