Ran 2 games at Advance the Colors in Springfield, OH, USA this weekend past. First was a 28mm modern pulpy kind of game, using Fistful of Lead. Second was a 28mm WW2 game, using Fistful of Lead: Bigger Battles. I've posted AARs in my threads on the appropriate boards...

Full game of Blood Bowl Norse vs Snotlings. My Norse went down 2-1. After a horrible start, it was a good satisfying contest full of carnage. I was happy to keep the scoring fairly low, and at least claw back a point...

Got to play these two games in last two sessions at the local wargames club.

This was a Lion Rampant El Cid Medieval Second Addition game, trying to get a baggage train to the beleaguered forces of a walled city/castle. It was a four player game and I was in charge of the baggage train. Unfortunately, the Moors won.

The second game was a game of Infamy, Infamy! by Too Fat Lardies. Got to play a Roman auxiliary archer unit in a six-player game. Most evening was spent trying to learn the rules, but had great fun. We will definitely be giving these rules another go... I got to use my cart and druid in the game but everything else belonged to other players.

This game was a defeat for the Romans we had been meant to go and capture said Druid in the far village and got nowhere close instead getting ambushed by Celts and also peppered by slingshot.
