Lion Rampant 'Scenario 3: Defending the Indefensible' in glorious 1/72. Scenario from the 2nd edition book. My 13 yr old son, my father-in-law and myself at the local club. Happy days.

Write up here on my blog: https://thisslapdashlife.blogspot.com/2023/02/a-top-weekend-of-gamingblood-bowl-lion.html

I also managed to get a good solid game of Blood Bowl in yesterday with my regular opponent. A great weekend's worth of gaming after a few weeks off.

A 28mm WW2 game - British Paras vs. Germans on D-Day using Xenos Rampant, sans the Sci-Fi stuff.  My regular gaming group played it this Friday past.  An illustrated AAR is up on my thread on the WW2 Board.

Played my first game of Tribal using a feudal Japan variant. Very entertaining and quite an interesting game mechanism using playing cards rather than dice.

Rebels and Patriots somewhere in the heart of the Vendee.
Yes, I have some proxy figures in there for the Republicans.  C'est la vie.

The black lines are a ridge - you can only see and shoot across one line - the second line blocks line of sight.

Played Xenos Rampant at the Rose & Crown club this evening.
Interesting as we fought it within a temple complex, using the GF9's Tenfold Dungeon box set

Recent wargame at the club I ran Crom the Hyborian skirmish Game by MATAKISHI'S TEA HOUSE. I had hoped to play two scenarios but we ran out of time. This was both players first attempt at these rules and we added loads of roleplaying character to the game which made it great fun.

More pictures and write up available here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2023/03/wycombe-warband-crom-hyborian-skirmish.html

Rules available here: Crom - A skirmish game set in the Hyborian age. See: www.matakishi.com
