It is a valid Guard tactic to have more targets than the opponent has ammunition. ;)

After a six month layoff, my friend asked for me to run another game in our post-apocalyptic campaign. The catch? HE would set up the terrain using the city block terrain he's been working on.

It was very vertical, and we had to agree beforehand how characters ascend between the ruined floor levels of the buildings. Probably a little too "fortress-like" to promote interaction (and more shooting) between the survivor gangs, but it was cool looking.

For lots more pics and a battle report, see my Lead Legionaries blog:

Oathmark at North Star HQ.

40 year old Orc catapult was pulled out of storage to deal with the unit of Knights causing havoc in the previous battles. Sent them scurrying for cover.

Battle of Landsdowne

Cornish Royalists advance on the waiting Parliamentarians at the top of the hill.  The pike blocks stalled at the top of the hill and took some fearful damage from the waiting artillery but did enough to allow the commanded shot on the flanks to threaten to envelop the enemy so they withdrew.
