WHFB 8th 4 players with 4000 Pts each. We played our long march version, that is both sides meet in the middle of a 4m long table. This gives a lot of possibilities to react to opponents setup :-).
We'll probably need 4 to 5 nights to get through

Not being idle myself while away from LAF, I have also played a few games in the last few months.

15mm DBA Mongol Conquest dancing around some Early Crusaders:

15mm ADLG with my Yuezhi (Scythian) with Mountain Indian allies getting ripped apart by Cyrenian Greeks and their chariots:

Took part in a Walking Dead: All Out War tournament (never take a knife to a gunfight!):

15mm Black Powder (Jabba - I get the beauty of your games now):

28mm Tribal with my Maori tackling some angry frogs:

And finally a board game; Conquest of Paradise - I highly recommend it:

Last Friday at my club we played Auerstadt 1806 using the oldie but goodie "Grande armeè" ruleset by Mr. Mustafa. Miniatures were 6mm from Baccus and the scenario was played on a standard table 120x180cm. After about 4 hours the Prussian army broke almost as happened in the actual battle.

I love this thread! I played a game of Rampant Galaxies, which is designed to be a more "Epic" scale game.... but I am using paper templates as a test run of the rules. I love paper templates.

Okay, I'm going to give this a shot. Here are picks from a 25 on 25 base (extra base for C-in-C element) DBA 2.2+ games on September 15th at the Hobby Bunker in Malden, Massachusetts. Numidians on the left (me) with Siciliot Greeks on my right. We faced the mighty Carthaginians twice, and lost both times.

Oh, the Kill-da-General gambit was a flop.
