Battle of Cheriton
Historically, the Battle of Cheriton was an important Parliamentarian victory in the English Civil War. It took place on 29 March 1644 and resulted in the defeat of a Royalist army, which threw King Charles I onto the defensive for the remainder of the year.

At the end of a 4 hour slug fest, the Parliamentarians achieved a narrow victory. The game was yet another testament to James' rule-set - The Kingdom is Ours.

Some Congo action - I hosted a game over the weekend with Abu Iskander and our mutual gaming buddy John.

We played three factions - each looking to grab a treasure protected by the Guardians located in the central meeting hut thingy...

As usual, two of us got into it early leaving the third to more less grab the VPs by taking out most of the Guardians.

Terrain and four legged animals by me, humans by Abu and John, huts by Abu.
