Ardennes 1944 - 20mm Rapid Fire

American attack on a German held village. Closely run fight, with the attackers just winning out. First Rapid Fire game in many years.

Thanks Colin. I don't think I had played Rapid Fire in over 10 years, despite having a large collection between us. We played earlier in the week to remind ourselves how it ran, in preparation for a Pegasus Bridge game we intended to run today (Now postponed due to illness - not me).

As usual, got carried away with the game and forgot about taking photos:

My recce found a PaK40 and Panzerschreck team, sadly too late to do anything about them....

Two American Infantry Battalions plus support vs a German Infantry Battalion.

My buddy and his wife devastated me in a three-sided game tonight of Shoot N' Skedaddle

As with all good games...my last surviving character (wounded, and holding a hostage) discovered the last property deed inside a house...which had just been set ablaze. I dove inside to grab it and burned to death. So...all is right with the world.
