Dentatus - that looks a great set up. Who makes the Dire Wolf model?

More from our OGAM Greek day

https://tomstoysoldiers.blogspot.com/2022/09/olympic-ogam-day-game-two.html
Very cool.   We gave OGAM a brief try back in the day when we were looking at various mid-sized skirmish battles.  It didn't catch on with the group, but it's an excellent  and easy to play set of rules and makes great use of the SBH system with an appropriate moderate increase in crunch.

2nd Scenario (or "Challenge" as authors call it) Space Station Zero - Solo

Exploring more of the Space Station the crew come across an abandoned facility where corrupted programming compels the millennia old Medi-Bots to restrain intruders, escort them to the operating tables in the centre of the room and eviscerate anyone unfortunate enough to let themselves be dragged this far.  Shoot them down or shut their activation stations.

Really been enjoying your posts about Space Station Zero.  Very inspiring I have the rules, appropriate figs and have acquired my buddies Vault terrain.  Now we've just got to play it!

Last night we played our first two(!) games of Grimdark Future Firefight; an excuse to finally bring out those old 40K miniatures. It must have been at least a decade since we gamed with these! (plus some new additions, like my Rogue Trader Mentor Legion force).

First game was between my Death Guard (aka Havoc Brothers Plague Disciples) and Voivod's Blood Axe Orks (aka Orc Marauders), which ended badly for the sickness; those Boys were entirely too jammy with their rolls and my own abysmal dicing certainly did not help  lol

Second game was Necrons (aka Robot Legions) versus Mentor Legion (aka Battle Brothers), which saw victory being ripped out of my cold metallic hands at  the very end of the last turn ::)  No new model syndrome for the Mentor Legion apparently...

Each game played out in about an hour or so; extremely quick! the system is a very simplified Kill team, with just enough flavour to fit the different armies. We played with the basic rules, but I'm now curious about the full rule set, which might add some more flavour.

This was a lot of fun 8)

Sadly no pictures of the first bout, but here are a few of the second game:
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

@SunJester - Thanks. Dire Wolf is a Deep Cuts D&D mini, IIRC

Great to those old Necron minis out on the table, which- BTW- is spectacular itself.

Great looking game!

Don't recognise any of the figures but they look really good.

Does make me realise I am well out of the loop on available 28mm sci-fi figures these days. Been a while since I trawled the 28mm ranges looking for things that would do for my 20mm sci-fi collection. These days I tend to look at 15/ 18mm stuff rather than looking for 25/28mm stuff. Time for a forage among the big stuff!
