Probably not being spirits themselves.  But are they gluten intolerant?

Just your average everyday RPG encounter with sneaky gits in the background.

Building is part of the Battle Systems "Village Set". BS has a KS for its dungeon-themed Maladum, and multilevel dungeon-themed terrain.

Game board is Terra Tiles, pre-order on the Ravenkeep website.

Old school miniatures are OOP Johnny Lauck. Tiny Furniture has a line of resin sitting miniatures.

He's used to dealing with rowdy drunks - chucking out the odd Ringwraith is no problem

A solo game of Sam Mustafa's "Nimitz" inspired by rather than based on the Battle of the River Plate.

Exeter had all her guns silenced and took structural damage but Ajax and Achilles were untouched. Graf Spee was reduced to a shattered hulk.

Played three games of Five Leagues from the Borderlands today...

Firstly, a practice game to learn the rules, using my ancient Lord of the Rings figures, painted in the long forgotten ages ere the beginning of Lead Adventure.
Aragorn, Boromir and Gimli battle some orcs in the fading light.

Next a training scenario for our warband for the campaign. Here Lenore of Grimhold and the Halfling mystic Wicklow Pottler face off against some friendly travelling folk pretending to be goblins (if you fight a training battle it gives you a small bonus when you actually start your campaign).

Then we began the campaign proper. After a bit of wandering we opted to ride patrol and ran into some desperate locals who had turned to banditry to survive. Here our follower Neville challenges three of the desperadoes to "come and 'ave a f***ing go." Nev was cut down in the battle, but we prevailed and he later recovered from his wounds.

We have now started a quest, which we will attempt to resolve next week. I think I might start a dedicated thread because I am really enjoying this game.
