When I spotted your "ship", the first thing I thought of was...Could I cut a plastic 2-liter soda bottle in half?!?!?!

Bit small at 28mm but that's a cracking idea at 15mm, as long as you don't mind it rocking from side to side as you try to play  ;)

You can. I have.
The problem you end up with is that once it's cut like that, it's not very rigid anymore.

I ran two sessions of Zombie RV at last weekend's Hold the Line convention in Port Clinton, OH. I had three 2'x2' tables set up. Some scenes from the action:

The Trailer Park board

The industrial section of town board

Players had lots of fun and everyone seemed happy. Always the goal for a convention game...  :D

I've been doing some WW1 air combat using homemade rules gleaned from Canvas Eagles and a few other rules sets, using 1/72 aircraft I 3D printed over the past year.

Finally finished our Grave of the Sun campaign.

Our heroes squared up against an ancient necromancer.

I played my first games of Sword and Spear...

With my old Irregular Minis Romans.

I enjoyed the games very much, Sword and Spear plays well solo.
Enough of this talking, let's get on...

A re-match at Kadesh!

6mm Baccus Hittites vs. Egyptians on 60mm x 60mm bases over control of the 3D printed Kadesh using In Strife and Conflict rules.

I played some games set in Middle Earth using the free Mead-Price rules by James Morris...

The baddies win on both flanks and Aragorn is defeated having lost all of his Reputation.

Good game, I'm looking forward to Midgard when it is published.

I must keep at it with ancients while my luck holds.

Great is Astarte that dwelleth in the high places and smileth at every embrace of lovers, for She hath bestowed victory upon her favoured son. Let a joyous song be raised unto Her, even in the voice of the King, and let there be much beer at the soldiers' tents this evening. Hooray hooray, I did win again! Pharoah Rhamses VI are a weedy wet, so there!

The two generals tried to settle their differences in a single combat, but after four rounds dinging away at each other shook hands and went off to get about 30, 000 reinforcements (for Goliath to survive single combat at all feels like a victory anyway). Lee refused her right flank, which I took advantage of with the Sherden chariots, though the chariot runners held them up briefly and were still there, though battered, when the retreat sounded. My own centre breakthrough, though not my favoured tactic, was very successful; the capture of the Pharoah was a valuable bonus.

Being true Philistines, we are planning to put a Lion King face on the great sphynx before we go home.

The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

Not big and pretty but hey it’s gaming activity. Mate and I tried BattleGroup with our FoW miniatures and liked it. Seemed more WW2.

A Five Parsecs game. CSI (Confidential Services Inc vs The 9th District Vipers, AKA The Exotics.

The Exotics deploying and gunning down a couple of employees who acted too aggressively.
