I love that ruin model. I have a use for something like that.
Where'd you get it? Do you have a link?

Ziterdes: Monastery Ruin, hard foam, comes pre-coloured and flocked.  I probably got it from Noble Knight.  Hunted it down several years ago after seeing one in somebody else's post!

Yep, sadly Ziterdes closed up shop, and I don't believe they sold the range to anyone.  Noble Knight used to carry some of their stuff (at excessive price, as is Noble Knight's way) and had some left over bits on their eBay shop for a while.

I too wanted the ruin, but didn't have the cash for it when it was available.  lol

In generaly I'm a huge fan of the hard-pressed foam terrain, and wish there were more sources for it.

Oh well.
Drawing a positive from it, I suppose that means I've saved some money.

Well, if you still want to waste your money...I'm sure someone could build something like it.
If you are in the UK let me know your budget & requirements. :D

Noble Knight marks up OOP stuff; sometimes seems excessive, but they generally have a pretty good grasp of supply and demand and they stay in business.

In-production stuff they generally mark down.  I regularly get good deals from them.  This past year, I scored a number of Essex DBA army packs at great prices that were marked down from the old Essex MSRP from before their most recent price hike.

I recall the monastery was pricey, but with the prepaint, flocking, and total coolness it fell into my range of temptation.  I certainly don't regret owning it now!

I wish I could agree, but they have an extremely routine habit of listing false MSRPs for (mainly foreign) products and then acting as if they're discounting stuff.  They've done it for all the Victrix kits, the old 4Ground MDF kits, etc.  None of it was OOP when they did this.

I know they're a big store and all that jazz, but I won't do business with a company like that.  I'm sure there is plenty of stuff they don't price gouge, but this kind of nonsense is a no-go for me.

Edit: I just checked and they're still doing the same thing.

Victrix 1/144 Scale Soviet Infantry (MSRP on Victrix site: $34.00) --- "MSRP" on Noble Knight is $47.95 marked 'down' to $42.95...they can pound sand.

Bit of catch up here;

1) A three way Game of kill team. My opponent was nice enough to linger in this firing lane long enough for my Breachers to rack up a few kills.

2) My first game of Necromunda! Unpainted Goliaths vs. Outcast Orks. This picture is an accurate representation of how the game went. Prone and pinned rules are unforgiving.

3) Another KT three way. Breachers vs Orks vs out of picture Warp Coven. My Breachers anc the Orks got WHOOPED.

4) More Necromunda. Classic battle of Goliaths vs Escher.

Nice Breachers, from this angle anyway. I love those miniatures. Kill Team made me think I should get back into 40K, then I realized I could just build Kill Teams for the sheer joy of it because damn, those all look so good!

Here's my report from the second game at Roll Call: my Venetians versus Andy's Vikings. From start to finish, this was one of the most exciting games of TTS I've ever played!

Kill Teams are perfect fodder for Pulp Alley games!

Last weekend was our "local" convention and one of my buddies ran a Crimean War game (as I was the French I actually only played the last two turns lol).
