Summary: we bought for our club a load of Amera 28mm scenery. The wargame scenery market is dominated by resin, hard plastic and laser cut MDF plastic. I prefer hard resin but resin is expensive, and so are large MDF buildings. Our club budget has its limits. Amera is vacuum formed scenery.

I use a bunch of vacuformed scenery my self. Put plenty of acrylic paint on it, both on the outer surfaces & on the inside to stiffen it up. be careful how you store it. Doesn't stack well because it can crush easily. I often use the vacuformed toy packaging too, look for shapes that make good hills & other obsticales. It is much lighter than other forms of scenery so just be careful in handling & storing & it works great.

I have some Amera stuff. I bought it on sale. I've not put it together yet but thanks for reminding me. I can't imagine how much the church I bought would have cost in resin.
