Both competition sculpts together :) :

Smashing stuff inso - you've come a long way from those first sculpts you shared on the forum of doom.
Your stuff is full of character and you have certainly developed a recognisable style of your own. I'm both impressed and jealous.

Cheers :) .

It just goes to show that looking at reference images, does help, after all :D ... hopefully, I'll keep it up for long enough to have a full squad.

Sadly, I came in 4th (trooper) and 7th (Sgt) in the competition (out of 13 entrants) but I have had nibbles from a couple of manufacturers who still want to get their mitts on them... but not yet! I need to keep them to get their brothers sculpted :) .

Anyway...

Well that vehicle is just silly... where on earth is the breach of each of those weapons plus the auto loader and magazines..?

Mind you ... has a certain cartoony charm ;-)

Do you know what? I didn't even give that a moment's thought when I spent two weeks building the turret... ;)

The weapons are belt fed from a central stowage at the base of the turret. The turret and its internal workings, rotate all the way down to the floor. The working parts of the weapons are in the elevating drum... The guns are only 30mm cannons, they aren't howitsers ;) ... I could go on but it would just be silly :D ... yet, possibly charming ;) .

It'll fit nicely with the rest of the tank company, in fact, I even left a space at the back for it :) :

So... in another one of my random moments, I decided that my Squats needed a Primarch proxy... this is a Roboute Guilliman proxy :) :

He's converted from this:
