Holy moly that is a lot of Squats!

Lovely to see someone keeping the good ol' space stunties alive!

Will they be blasting their way through some Nids any time soon?  :D

Cheers :) . It's unlikely because I don't game... but you never know ;) .

I've now started conversion work on the heavy weapon troopers for the third platoon (ten Squats; five gunners and five loaders) but have also been a bit distracted by these guys:

These casts were sent to me by Macrocosm. They are from the ones I sculpted for the kickstarter and I have actually put a bit of paint on them (primed and I have started the black on the Commissar)... I couldn't help myself :) .

A bit of a resurrection here but I have been working on a vehicle for my original Squat army... so... Something new today... a proxy Hellhound tank :) :

It's just primed at the moment so needs lots of painting yet :) .

The Hellhound is now painted:

... and so are the four Tauroxes :) :

Just NINE Chimeras to convert and paint and I'll be ready to add the decals  :D :'(  :o ...

Always impressed when I see an update - how you never run out of motivation to expand this project.

Cheers :) . I must admit that this army is always ticking away... whether it's in my head or the occasional update :) . For example, I have just got hold of 13 Ogryn to convert into a Squad of 6 Ogryn, a squad of 6 Bulgryn and an Ogryn body guard. The ogres I bought were:

This one to act as an Ogryn Body Guard:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Blood-Bowl-Ogre-2020

A mix of these for the two squads:
6 models from here: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Militarum-Auxilla-Ogryns
6 models from here: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Jotunn-H-grade-Servitor-Ogryns-2020

I haven't done very much with them yet but the Body Guard is getting there nicely :) ... once he's converted and primed, I'll post images but he's so many colours at the moment, it's difficult to tell what's what.

That said, I am currently investing most of my hobby time in my second army, which involves a lot of sculpting... and you'll find that here :) :

I still have 20+ sculpts to do for that army and then I'll need to paint them all :) ...

Is the Hellhound a Churchill from World War Toon?

I just thought I'd post an update... seeing as this project is still going :) .

I have decided to convert some Chimera proxies that are "prototypes". That means that I don't have to convert 9 identical models. I continue to use the Meng "Toon King Tigers" as a base (mainly for the tracks) and have started with a Russian styled vehicle. Here's the finished conversion:

... and here's the finished base coat, waiting for the washes and highlights :) :

I am thinking that the next one will be based on the U.S. LVPT-7 and will also use the same King Tiger chassis :) .

In other news... did anyone mention Knights?:

So this project has been sleeping... not killed off :) .

I'm unacountably happy to see an excellent redux of one of my favorite battle mech designs.

That's a Thunderbolt (Dougram Ironfoot) as the base, isn't it?

Very cool conversion!  8)

Also; the APC is some really nice work too!

Cheers :) .

The Mech is pretty much a standard 1/72nd scale Dougram Ironfoot with a sculpted Squat pilot and a converted cockpit. It's still WIP (I'm waiting for some plastic filler to arrive and I need to add a few details) so it should be a little more individual, once it's finished :) .

Is it one of the ones from the 80s? I have pieces of a Soltic around somewhere. Looking forward to see where it goes.

Yep :) . It's an Ironfoot from the Dougram 1/72nd range. There is also a Revell Robotech version (called a Gartan) all from the '80s. I have a 1/48th Soltic as well... it's the one made in clear plastic so it's going to be a complete pig to paint... but there you go :) .
