It looks magnificent!

I dont have any ships yet but I might start on some terrain soon and I'm worried about making my docks too high or low. How many inches or cm are the railing of a B&P Sloop above the waterline?

Depends.
Is the tide in, or out ?
I personally think it looks best if the dockside is a little bit higher than the deck, but you could have it the other way.

The sloop's gunwale is on average 4cm high, the brig roughly 4.5cm and the port wall is about 5cm high. I wouldn't worry too much about it, a gangplank would fix any indiscretions.

I had been thinking about re-working some of my pirate boards and this has given me some inspiration. Thanks for the tutorials and keep up the good work.

And good to hear from you too Matt. I'll be showing this at MOAB on both the Saturday and Sunday, with Sven (he played your apocalypse game years back with his son). A mate will also run Sharp Practice 2 and Sven will do Zombicide Black Plague on the Sunday. Hopefully we'll see you there?

My 1:1 hobby project just turned 15 months, I'm a pretty stoked dad.

With an advertisement like that Frank I'll need to rustle up a visit at Moab for sure.

Cheers
Matt

I was assuming that particular hobby project was hogging your time. So many little details to take care of.  ;)

Hope to see you there anyway mate.

Very nice. Are you planing to add shutters to the windows? I ask because if you do, please tell us how you made them, I want to try something similar.
