HIM the Kaiser himself
« on: March 24, 2009, 11:35:11 PM »
Some time ago we discussed a little about Tradition's Kaiser.

Just now I found the following on TMP:
http://theminiaturespage.com/news/26091/

and here:

http://www.traditionoflondon.com/index.asp?page=http%3A//www.traditionoflondon.com/Products/Images/30mm/Imperial_German_Army.htm

looks beautiful!

YIPES!

Didn't catch that at first glance. Too bad, a nice set.

I should add the Kaiser to my range at some point. I promise he won't be 150 pounds... well, maybe the limited edition made with a small portion of the Kaiser's moustache..;)

Yes I saw the price. I think it is very very expensive!

But have you noticed that you can get it unpainted at 1,60 GBP/figure?

I think Bismarck will be more of the ruler in my VSF.

Nice miniatures though. Has anyone done german lancers for the period?

You could use Uhlans from the FPW period, available from Foundry or Helion and co. (I have the Foundry ones which are old sculpts and quite small. The new Helion and co ones are 28mm and very very nice figures. ;D)
If you want later period go for any early WW1 Cavalry figures, Renegade, great War minis etc.

So that's £17.08 for painting on single figures.  And, no disrespect to the artist, but the quality of the painting is, er...

(And I only charge...Mmm.  Time for a price increase  ;) )
