I've had these miniatures sitting half-finished on the desk for at least three months. "Iona Starkiller" from Hasslefree Miniatures, and two "Fishman" Warriors from Knightmare Miniatures. The first is obviously an Eldar psyker and the fishmen are modern versions of the fairly rare (if not rare, at least pricey) 1987 40k Piscean Warrior.

a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Very nice. I love the fish scales. Are the dots painted on freehand or was there sculpted detail there?

Thanks! There is some cross-hatched scaly texture sculpted on, mostly on the tail region. The dots are hand painted though. I also used a metaillic/iridescent under layer which also contributes to the effect I think.

Thanks all :)

I added a few more crew and some robots to the Squat contingent. I had acquired a couple of crew in a trade but didn't get them in time to prime them along with the previous set.

Great looking additions.  Colorful but nicely weathered.

Great looking additions.  Colorful but nicely weathered.

Thanks :)

Progressing along on the Rogue Trader 40K Adventurers. Next up: the Navigator.

I decided to paint up all my other Navigator types (from GW and 3rd parties) at the same time. I had already completed one, 'Espern Locarno' from the Blackstone Fortress set.

40K Adventurer (1988), Forge World Horus Heresy Navigator (2014), and Espern Locarno (2018).

Navigator from Trolls Under the Bridge.

Lead Adventure Astropolis miniatures. Seemed like weirdo navigator types to me!

Group shot of the Navigator entourage. I imagine them to be from several different Navis Nobilitie households.

Any suggestions for the next Adventurer?

Scum and Pirate.   Absolutely insanely good painting on the eyes of the Navigator.

Suggestion noted ;)

I wanted the eyes to look unsettling and inviting at the same time, he's a creepy fellow!

Amazing paintwork on all of those beady little fellas!
Especially on that 88 Navigators trousers as I know just how skinny those legs are!
Envious?
Yep!
 :-* :-*

Oh, and seconding the suggestion of the Scum.
Such an iconic 40K classic figure.
