Incredible.
This may be one of the most inspirational things I've seen in awhile. Can you share how you staged this shot?

Well done!

Thanks all :)

I'm having trouble deciding what to do in 2021 :)

This may be one of the most inspirational things I've seen in awhile. Can you share how you staged this shot?

Pretty easy! I hotglued seven tiers of styrofoam togther into steps and then laid a piece of fabric over the whole thing :)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Absolutely gorgeous! The recreation of the RT era catalogue page really sets the whole project in the correct light. Perhaps a side by side with the original page (with the goofy names) would be fun to see? It would certainly set off your paint jobs!

And as for topping this; how about recreating another RT catalogue page? There's still some stuff to do before you have to resort to doing Space Marines after all. If I recall correctly, there were at least two pages of adventurers? And there's the dedicated Imperial Army pages, and maybe the Eldar pages might be fun too...

At any rate; your pictures are what always sets these wonderful paint jobs off. You sir, certainly know how to set a scene. I absolutely love the one with the Imperial nobles gathering in hushed silence and awe around the massive orrery. You can almost smell the unwashed bodies and incense there...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I have the "Imperial Agents" (it might be 'Agents of the Imperium') on the slate. They never had a color advert- I could do that ;)

Wow!  Individually throughout the year those have been great, but that group shot is amazingly cool.
