Thanks all, appreciated.

As usual it is 'feast or famine' in this thread, and now that I have more free time there will be lots of stuff coming down the pipe.
I recently painted the last few figures I needed to complete the acolytes/retinue miniatures from the metal GW Inquisition range, here they are in the family photo (no actual inquisitors in this one, still have one or two left).

a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Superb stuff. This is possibly my favourite GW range: so many characterful non-combatants. To see it like this: beautiful!

Awesome, that range contains some of the most characterful minis they produced at that time, Juan Diaz I guess, great stuff.

Recent additions to the 40K project, Rogue Trader style Space Vampires. This is a side project that has been marinating a while, all starting from a Cobalt-1 miniature for which I had no real purpose in mind, and it turned into reading the Rogue Trader bestiary, watching Buck Rogers in the 25th century, and printing off a bunch of extra stuff to make a pair of vamps and their natural forms.

That is insane, Dr Mathias! You hear me, insane!! :o
And I love it for just that. That’s what made Rogue Trader so great, that strange Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon/Pulp/not everything is grimdark vibe.

Bloody good painting on those two.
