Looking for Angels
« on: March 25, 2009, 09:06:21 AM »
I have this crazy idea of doing another new project - Weird WW1.
Does anyone know who makes Angels in 25/28mm ? I want some for Angels of Mons.

Any suggestions?

RAFM and West Wind that I can think of. The West Wind ones are under Lucifer's War.

You know, I was going to suggest Black Cat, but I think for what you seem to be aiming for, Rhoderic's right. West Wind or RAFM. There are also some angels in the Reaper range that might work well.

Do you want beatific, serene looking angels? Or do you want wrath of god, avenging types?

Because if its the latter, then you can't do better than the one Heresy sell:

He is a big bugger though. As befits an agent of the lord's righteous fury, if you ask me.

Can't help you with Angels but it's a brilliant idea 8)
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

This is the Angel I use in my Weird WWII.  The pic below is a painted example from Reaper's site.

I was thinking that there are a few in the Hell Dorado range.  I think I saw some there.

Also the West Wind Lucifer Wars has a ton.

Yeah, Reaper has had more than a few over the years. Even a boxed set, at one point, if I remember correctly.

Yes, those are very pretty. Consider the angelic beings from Rackham.
