I'd forgotten about the Lensman Britannia, though. My first thought was: Chris Foss!

True, that.  He certainly isn't pinned into a single sculpting style.  Admittedly some of the sculpts are other folks' work that he casts and sells under license, but his own work's pretty varied as well.

I'd forgotten about the Lensman Britannia, though. My first thought was: Chris Foss!

I'm planning on doing a Foss-inspired paint scheme on the next one I do.  They have some of that look for sure.  The sculpting style also reminds me strongly of Iron Wind's Battletech-universe ships, mostly due to the panel work and fins.
