Thanks for all the kind comments,

They are indeed decals, I got the idea from a customer who made his own and they looked fantastic so I had four sets of them commissioned
You have to cut them to the size of each panel and it does take some practice. I will do a video tutorial for how I do this soon.
It is easier than painting though!
You will need decal solvent Microsol 1 and 2 to get the decals on well.
Also with some sets you can vary the colour by applying them over another colour for example red under black.
Will Colonel Bills be selling the transfers at shows?. I'm particularly looking at Claymore next week .

Not yet as colonel bill only carries select packs at this point.
In fact I'm out of stock on most decals but I have more coming any day now.

I will be painted twenty or so of these knights in different configurations for a display so expect to see more!

A tutorial would be extremely useful, so I look forward to that.
If it’s too hard, I can’t do it

Those decals are brilliant, as are the castings.  :o :o

Look forward to seeing the tutorial on how to apply the decals.

They look incredible....

I think they look very credible. I have no difficulty believing those are the real thing!

Beautiful work on the armor.  And shows off those fantastic decals - not all of us have the steadiness of hand, or the basic talent, to paint damask horse trappings.

I gave the freehand method a few years back - not too bad, but I would still like to give the decals a go.

For those who don't fancy their skills are sufficient to cut out shapes for horse armour maybe single shapes from nail art decals on coloured backgrounds would give a satisfactory result.  Decals like this, for example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1Sheet-Vintage-Damask-Pattern-Nail-Art-Water-Decals-Transfer-Manicure-Stickers-/381646952364?var=&hash=item58dbee57ac:m:mHfR0Brs6xpwCOQRWSVXBiw

They are very very cheap so failure won't cause heart failure and there are lots and lots of designs available - though only a couple I've found seem suitable.  Have a look anyway.

Thanks again
The decals are great because you can paint other colours under and get more variation.
Once I have had more practice at applying them I will do the tutorial.

Yes, please do provide a video tutorial! They look superb when done, but I have to say I'm a bit intimidated with the idea of trying to cut decal panels to try to align with portions of the horse armour. I have scenes of me finally 'getting it' only once I've used-up the majority of the decal sheet in furious, expletive-filled abortive attempts...  lol

Try using a  flexible dressmaker's tape measure rather than trying to do it by eye alone.
