Yeah no problem, it is generic in that it covers all types of troops and weapons and isn't specific to an environment

Thanks for the quick reply!
How many figures can the game handle?
Are there rules for tanks?

Lars:-)

I think you would slow the game down with over 30 per side to be honest, it does however depend on how you want to equip them, if all armed with standard weapons should be quicker however if you use special forces with lots of equipment and such it will take longer to wok through

It does have rules for armour etc however it will not give you a break down by make or model/nation, rather it is more simple than that. However it will allow you to construct the type of vehicle you may be after

there is a decent write up of the outline rules here http://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2016/11/21/the-great-big-modern-wargaming-rules-comparison/

We will base our campaign in the mid 1970s - so minimal fancy equipment!!

I will check the link:-)

It would be perfect for a group of Rhodesia light infantry doing a patrol or a fire force responding to a terrorist raid.
By maybe not so good for a huge set piece engagement.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
