Hi Guys,

Well, I've worked on the other building and now need to put some wooden beams into place. This building is JR miniatures and whilst it may not be the best quality around it does the task for me.

I also finished working on the windmill from Grand Manner and the Vege patch also from Grand Manner. I've one building to go which I'm working on which you have seen in the last posts. This building is also JR miniatures.

Comments welcome.  8)

Best wishes,
Helen

Hi Folks,

Please to say that apart from basing work on the other building I'm finished.

I used bamboo skewers for the beams protruding out of the walls. These i painted with Raw Umber.

I used Antelope Brown Ink watered down to use on cracks, window seals etc as mould on the second building. I actually used this method on the windmill slate and around the bottom of the building.

Please let me know what you think.

Many thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks Karl and Malamute. These are the very first buildings I've ever painted. So thanks to all once again for their input.

Looking really good.
The only thing I would add is to change the colour of the smaller buildings yard. A darker brown or earth colour to contrast with the walls.

Great job Helen. THose are about the same colour as mine turned out. You will really enjoy using those as they will look fantastic on a gaming table. Thanks for sharing the final results!!

Hi Carlos,

Many thanks, yes the table would make for a great naval board if only it was larger.
