Since my last comment on this thread I have painted half a miniature.
You have build at least 3 playable warbands.
Whatever magic you have, i think it's only fair that you share it!

They are all the dog's bollocks. I feel the need to get cracking on my own houses and I get a few ideas from you how to balance the colours to a grittier look.

Thanx, gentlemen....
Finished a few flags today and did a new overview picture of the forces so far.
@magic
I have a cold a had to stay at home for a few days...everytime I got bored, I painted 1 or 2 miniatures...
Feeling much better now...
So less a kind of magic, more to bored to watch TV.

Would you mind translating that for a poor german, who learned his english at school...

It's the Cat's Pyjamas or the Bee's Knees...
...for vulgar people (such as Hammers).
(It means something that is very impressive or sought-after, top quality.)

By the old gods and the new, that picture really brings home the scale of your rapidly produced collection! What a glorious sight.

Not only is this wonderful eye candy, it's also proving a really effective shaming mechanism for my own slow (lack of) production!

Impressive collection, and in such a short space of time, wow!
Dog's bollocks basically means really good
Apparently it derives from old packing terms, if you can believe what they say on QI, when normal packaging was classified as 'box standard' and the better quality version was known as 'box deluxe', which over time have become 'bog standard' and 'dog's bollocks'
