Thanks.
I have done a bit more today. I think the board is about done. On to paint the minis.

And I added some measuring sticks as those are all over dig sites.

Don't forget your backdirt piles and either a wheelbarrow or buckets.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to make buckets and wheelbarrows, then I would love to hear them.

Great board. For once I am lookoing forward to Kulturhusdag lol. I wonder what we are excavating? I se postholes and ruins! Perhaps an older wooden building under the one build of stone. An abbandened church! They are always a hit with metaldetectorists.

cheers
Erik

I have finished with the miniatures.

First up the Archaeologist.

The landowner.

And the detector guys.

Also I added a few flowery tufts to the board.

Wonderful thread! As i am relatively new to this forum, this is my first visit to your work. incredible output in years past. If i could pull that off i wouldn't have quite so many unpainted models!

I noticed WAY back you were looking for posters to put on the supermarket. Did you ever source any? If not, let me know. I did some for my WW2 French village. Those won't work for you as they are 30s and 40s French adverts and 40s German propaganda posters, but i figured out how to pull it off. They are resized images in a word doc and resized to various dimensions so i can see which fits best where. If you are still in need or posters, snd me a message and i'll give you a hand.

BG out
