Re: The Zombie workshop mk.II painting status for 2019

I have done a paint status for 2019

I have painted 190 28mm miniatures and 70 6mm Cold war tanks.

Giving me a grand total of 260 painted miniatures for 2019. Not that bad. A bit better than last year. Where I did 208. But still far from my peak performance of 2017 where I painted 400.

As last year I have spent a good deal of my hobby time building scenery. This year the big project has been building a complete jungle board to go along with the outstanding Empress Vietnam range.

Not a bad number at all considering all the terrain and the flexible matt.  I aspire to hit 200 some year soon...  :)

While there is still a bit 2020 left. I have done a status for what I have painted this year. And I have hit 275 painted miniatures. That is better than 2019 where it was 260.

All in all I guess it is an acceptable amount especially considering how monumentally bad a year it has been. In spite of everything I still managed to paint 275 minis to put on the table and build a fair amount of scenery as well.

Not bad at all.  I will wind up around 240 for the year which is my second best year ever... until you consider I didn't work for most of this year.  Doh!  I am sure our next year will be more productive.   lol

So I finally did a tally of what I painted in 2021 and it is abysmal.

I managed a total of:
49 - 28mm miniatures

70 bases of 10mm miniatures

and 5 pieces of scenery.

That is the lowest number in years. Although real life has been busy and covid hasn't helped as no games lead to less inspiration. I feel the main factor has been Brexit. I can no longer just buy what I want when I want. As I now have to pay £18 extortion money to the danish postal service for each order. That has really put a dampener on my hobby purchases this year.

I have jumped on the 3D printning bandwagon. And bought an Anucubic Mono 4K.
This is my first ever print

So now great LAF hivemind hit me up with all the dos and don’ts and good places to get files.

I was afraid that the fine details on the mail would be drowned out in paint so I quickly painted him up.

Turns out it didn't

Is that 28mm? Damn fine print if so!

I have been following a kickstarter campaign and I began nosing around and sure enough I found out that there are a huge amount of kickstarters selling printable STL files.

Don't know if you will find that interesting or helpful.

I have finished painting something!
My painting output this year has been decidedly poor. But now i have finally finished something.

Adeptus Titanicus titans for an upcomming gaming weekend.

First of a 3d printet Lucius pattern Warlord.

Then a 3d printet old school Warhound.

And then the titans from the Boxed game.

Didn't see these before, they are very cool! Lovely work on them. I especially like the detail on the bases.
