I had a bit of a clear out of my WW2 North Africa to do box recently completely emptying it would you believe (don't worry I've filled it up again, I'm not ill).

This is the fruits of my British painting, lots of pics on the blog. Have to say after an initial nervous breakdown the Portee went together nicely.

Jolly nice those Ken. Great job on the Caunter.
Must say, Perry fan-boy as I am, I found it the devil's own job fitting the crew into the Portee, but that may have been due to the positioning of the gun! It's a lovely little piece though.
The cruiser tanks are particularly nice.
The Marmon-Herrington's I'm not quite so sure about. The models look a bit squat to me. Presumably they are a different model of M-H A/C to the Perry one, which is quite a streamlined, elegant looking vehicle...

The Monkeys are from Company B and are the Mk2 version, I had bought one already so stuck with the same brand, I haven't seen any others in the flesh to compare.

The secret with the Portee is to put the firing figure in first and then the gun. It's a great model

Lovely work but I think 2 of your tank hull MGs are upside down. If they are the Besa MGs they sit in a supporting trough with the barrel showing uppermost.

the Marmon Herrington Mk 3 was redesigned, looks better, but was not a better vehicle ... Mk2 in caunter scheme seem's correct to me, the Mk3 was mostly issued latter ...
