Battle of Asculum 279 BC - Devon Wargames Group
« on: August 13, 2017, 09:45:46 AM »
One of three games played at the DWG this month was a 15mm game recreating the Battle of Asculum and Rome's struggle with King Pyrrhus.

The rules chosen were 'Augustus to Aurelian', a set designed for a very much later period in Roman warfare, but with suitable adaptations proved a fun set to use for this earlier one.

If you would like to see how the game turned out, then just follow the link to the DWG club blog.
