Seeing as I've bought loads of the new terrain for Shadow war I may as well invest in the new gangs as well!

Bravo GW

Multi-part kits!!! I hope they do Orlocks as well. I reckon they're the most generic looking gang, so perfect for building all sorts of civilians and extras.

Eschers and Goliaths were the two gangs I played in my long running campaign when Necromunda first came out. I can see me buying these two sets for sure.  :D

Oooooh!

Never liked the original Goliaths (and I draw a veil over the version 2 figures for all houses).

These look good.

Hopefully the game will build on SW:A and use that version of 40K.

Though O'clock is my default (I used a Tallarn box set way back when), Cawdor and Redemptioners would be great in plastic as an expansion (hint hint).

Some info about models and rules

Quote
Release should be November slot. First 6 gangs release schedule sorted.

Plastic gangs and then outlanders then expanding to new gangs!!!! Takes time.

More skill tables including leader and trade ones.

Game loosely based on 8th but expanded mechanics. Intergrates turn sequence, model by model activation. Leaders and champions help..

By activating additional models, juices need to be near others to guarantee activation

So that sounds like the rules won't be like SWA/Classic Munda? That seems....odd.

Unless I'm reading that wrong.

I think there was talk of an action point system not unlike spacehulk. I'm not saying it's going to be good, but I like them stepping out a bit activation wise.

Now that 40K 8E is out, it's not surprising that they're using it for the core mechanics with suitable mods and chrome added on.  Not a horrible set of rules, and the biggest complaints I've heard all revolve around vehicles - which should be a non-issue in Necromunda.  The models look nice, and it sounds like probably all six of the original core gangs will be returning initially, followed by the farther-out stuff in Outlanders.

Have to wonder about that last line.  "Juices" are a typo or renamed juves, maybe?  Make sense if they needed friendlies nearby to avoid dithering.

Brightest point of this for me is I'd call it proof that we can expect Battlefleet Gothic to relaunch eventually, and the models will be amazing.
