I figured at best it would be a limited time recast of the original models. So hey I am already happy with what is coming :D.

I really hope, still need original Goliaths, van Saar and Spyrers to full my collection of 1st edition miniatures.

But did they release old BB models for team they put into plastic ?
I remember mostly models for rare teams.

Blood bowl sells for £65. That is 2 team and a card pitch. I doubt we will see Necromunda for less than £100 unless they skip terrain entirely. I hope I am wrong. Guess I am just too jaded about GW pricing to be hopeful :?. Granted I never thought they would make new gangs after SWA was released. I figured at best it would be a limited time recast of the original models. So hey I am already happy with what is coming :D.

Yeah, I was going by a price I saw elsewhere and forgot it was discounted.

To be honest, if they are doing this properly, I wonder if they will just give it the space hulk treatment and update but keep to the same format for the terrain? I'm not sure the SWA has enough coverage to offer the same type of game. I am willing to be proven wrong as the rules are to be different so who knows.

Shadow War Armageddon was £80 undiscounted with 20 miniatures and a pile of the new terrain. Eight sprues of terrain which in the separate releases totals about £90 IIRC. Plus £18 for the Orks and £30 for the scouts. Add rules, templates, dice and whatnot and it's not far from a half price bundle.

GW's recent stuff in the boxed sets has been phenomenal value in comparison to their old pricing strategy. SWA was such good value it sold out almost instantly. A similar Necromunda bundle would probably be priced nearer £100 and be done in larger numbers to take full advantage of the likely demand. I'd be astonished if it's not got plastic terrain in- possibly new Sector Mechanicus sprues- at £100 ish. If they go just cardboard terrain and gangers it'll be nearer £50. After 40k 8th triple starter release they might do both.

Since there is also a discussion on the Necromunda re-release in the GW Discussion thread, and since there is no actual product to show yet, I would prefer to fold back this discussion into the GW Discussion thread. Please continue over here in accordance with the Crossposting rule.
