Fantastic weathering on the bot! This whole thread is just filled with goodies.
And you should be proud of that base.

Fantastic paint job.  Really looks like something that some sort of rebel group might get ahold of.

Exactly what I was aiming for!

Thanks, guys!

Took a couple of pictures of my cargo pallets for a friend, thought I might as well post them here since they go so nicely with this project.

Very good.

Thanks, guys.

It's really super simple. You get tissue paper, preferably without any pattern in it (I cut the plain middle parts out for these) and drench them in watered down pva (about 3-4 to 1) best way I've found is to place the tissue over the "boxes" (in this case simple foam cutoffs) and start gently brushing it into nooks and folds with a brush, applying the glue mixture as you go. it dries surprisingly hard and sturdy, and finding interesting shapes to put under the tarps is part of the fun.

WOW! I really missed the thread, those scenery are GREAT! :)

I especially like the pallets: Game-wise, they're fantastic and not ambiguous, while they do their part in ANY setting.

The fact that you're going to play with my own ruleset doesn't make me biased at all. lol lol lol

I'm thinking I want this thing still more beaten up and grimy before I give it its final top coat, but I think it already looks pretty cool.
...

I will say that this has a good mix of beat-to-hell and shiny. I like the suggestion in soldering on, half worn out, half recently replaced.

"I don't know why they don't ship the drop-in missile pods with hatch attached. You tear off the transport cover, and put on an old hatch that can hardly fit."

I got a lightbox from my girl so I couldn't help but take a couple more pictures of the mech.
