The army is really starting to look impressive. I certainly wouldn't want to face them.

Love them big fancy guns.

Superbly painted army, they really are giving the feeling of the period! Congrats!

Mid-1840's India goodness is always a sight for sore eyes...  8)

Despite being over twenty years old, the Foundry Sikh Wars range still holds up extremely well and remains one of my favourites ever. Here I must respectfully disagree with a couple of siblings named Alan and Michael when they say that the Sikh wars figures they did in the previous century are getting a bit long in the tooth. Apart from the fact that they are 26 rather than 28mm, I see nothing in them that is quaint or outdated by today's standards.

Arthur I couldnt agree more, I was tempted to do the whole lot in Foundry figures and will certainly get more. I have a stack to paint that includes a lot of Foundry but also some Studio, some Iron Dule Comany Cavalry and soem Perry Afghans amongst others. Mainly stuff I picked up second hand.

Eventually I want a division of regulars per side and then a large force of irregulars for the Sikhs too.

The Guns are from a manufacturer for an earlier period although the crews are foundry. The guns are Indus and they carry a number of figures that would translate in their range although it is aimed at the 18th century rather than 19th.

Thanks for the feedback, I will be doing a similar post for the Company troops once I have another unit or two finished.
