can anyone shed light on it? Many thanks

An image search identifies this as a Chlen Beast from The Tékumel Club. It may not have been released.

Ordering seems to be by email enquiry.

PS: There was something familiar about this at the back of my brain so I searched LAF and ... "Sir Barnaby Hammond-Rye" aka Howard Fielding (IRL) has posted on this very site a number of times; you could try a PM.

I've ordered from the Tekumel Club in the past for commission painting customers and can recommend them as being helpful, quick and reliable.  Their photos generally do not do justice to the quality of their sculpts.

Not sure the chlen has been released, though.

Many thanks chaps, I've just sent an enquiry, so hopefully will hear back soon. These Chlen will work very well as mounts for Pan Tang Devil Riders, as depicted here by Rodney Matthews

It is a rather nice lizzard, isn't it.  Hopefully it is available.

Yeah, it's theoretically available. Just having a little difficulty sourcing a reliable supply.

There is a 3d printed variant, also...

Mike - I'll send you the details via email. Just found this thread... :-) (I just realized there are multiple Mikes in this thread...doh! )

Regards,

Howard

Note that the resin version is quite large...7.5 inches give or take.

The 3d printed version can be resized.

Email replied to you Sir, with thanks. Can you resize this Chlen by the way?

The resin chlen could only be resized by resculpting it.

To be expected, they are pretty big.  How much does that cost?

I've decided I can't sell any regardless without lining up another resin source. There are 2 and 4 wheeled carts that go with them after all.

Anyone know any resin casters?

I know a few in the starship end of the pool.  Ravenstar, maybe Studio Bergstrom (although he may get his done by someone else), Brigade Models - but whether they take outside work I don't know.  If you're not dead-set on resin you might try Trollforged, I know they do contract casting in their own plastic and might be able to produce the kit that way.  If they can cast this stuff:  http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=100660.0  then the chlen ought to be well within their capabilities.

I do hope you find a caster or a resin source because I've decided I'm in love with that critter and want a couple.
