Honestly that is a work for a catalogue cover! Extremely well done, I couldn´t imagine a better result. It´s ashame though that all of that nice interior will be hidden within the hull...

Nice work! I am interested in a run-down of the colours you've been using on the Marine gunner's BDU (uniform) ?

All Vallejo Model Color
Base colour: US Dark Green highlighted by adding Stone Grey; large patches: Black (with a little Tamiya Flat Base) with a little Lt. Mud (to make dark grey) adding more LT. Mud to highlight; German C. Beige highlighted by adding Stone Grey; small, 'wiggly' lines: Ivory. Shading was done by making a glaze with black and a little Tamiya Flat Base.

...and if you were wondering...the APC does not fit inside the dropship - it's too long!

Nice! Thanks. Did you paint the Lieutenant at the OPS table different compared to the driver? The green seems t have a different tone to it. But that could be because of lighting when you took the picture. You didn't by any chance paint some Marines apart from those crew members, did you? I really would like to copy your approach (if I can even come close  :'( ) - it is by far the best result to paint those uniforms I have come across.

Thank you! Yes, the LT is painted in a different green. I felt the driver was a bit to light in shade so I used a darker green for the commander - unfortunately it's a little too close to the interior colour and not the green I wanted.  I have a few marines and will get around to painting them (I also received the limited edition 'Apone' mini with the APC so may paint that first).

Wow! Your painting is stunning! :-* I feel as though if I looked close enough the screens would tell me the vitals of Hicks and Hudson! :o

So that's two basic school boy errors! The major join in the APC AND not being able to fit in the dropship that's designed to hold it! :?

Nooo! My eyes!  :o

It's a bit much when you can't fit the APC in the dropship. I know it's to save a bit on the dropship cost but surely part of the attraction of buying the two is to drop the ramp and have the APC roar out (Vroom noises optional).

I think the interior of the APC might be finished. I've added a wristwatch/com/monitor to the gunner's wrist as the join to the controls was not as good as I'd like it to be; applied a few scrapes and scratches to the paintwork; dirtied the floor a little and added the three containers from the kit opposite the driver and gunner. I might add a few more items to the space next to the containers and something on one or two of the seats.

What decals do you use or did it Prodos put some into the kit?
