British Paratrooper Platoon
« on: March 29, 2009, 03:29:24 PM »
Finally based and took some piccies of my British Paratrooper platoon in 28mm. Figs by Artizan, Bolt Action, a few Battle Honors and Crusader.

Overall platoon and support...

Command

Bren team

First Squad

Bren Team

Second Squad

Recon squad

Sniper teams

PIAT teams
'

Vickers HMG

Mortar

6 Pounder Anti tank gun

I have a 30 pounder laying around somewhere without a crew, and a few rece jeeps too.

This is actually my first complete force that I completely bought and painted my self. (Some of my Waffen SS and Russians are repaints of my Dads work)

regards,

Brad

They look super and well done to you.

Looking forward to seeing the opposing side when you are completed.

Nice painting  8)

Since you painted figures from different bran, can you tell us those who you think make the better ones?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

I posted an extensive tutorial a while back, here's the link. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=9609.0

All the brands were quite nice...I have to say the Bolt Action ones were very nice with lots of detail, and I have always liked Battle Honors for their quality and price. The Artizan and Crusader ones weren't bad either.

regards,

Brad :)
