Some nice looking figures.  With all this going around and me playing Empire TW.  I am officially expanding into the FIW as well.  I will use my apaches as fill ins if necessary and such.

Nice find! Thanks.

Now that's my favorite for 'most silly name for a wargaming company'.
For the miniatures - from what I can see on the pics they seem not as good as Conquest or Perry.

Not quite perhaps but if they relase regulars and Light troops for both British and French I will be pleased as it doesn`t look like the Perrys ever would and Conquest dont seem to be in a hurry about it.

Yep, very intriguing : I'm curious to know their true scale (i.e. how they compare with others) and who is their sculptor. Maybe I should ask ?  :)

Thanks for the news, Karl : as youngsters say nowadays, you can never had enough z indians !

Sorry for the double post, but from the sculptor himself :

Quote from: Galloping Major
afraid I don't have any Conquest or Eureka to compare, but mine are nearer to a size match for Foundry, Redoubt, Front Rank etc., I'm told Conquest are a bit smaller.
(...)

thanks for pointing that out re size difference in Redoubt Woodland Indians and their other figures, you're right of course, they would mix in well for size with the new Galloping Major ones, while most Redoubt models seem quite a lot taller/bigger (I have a few around that were passed on to me by a friend when he saw the Mohawk I was working on).

Matt

Thanks Matt, I think that means they ae samller than Redoubt and would estimate them as Front rank size perhaps? I will wait for the regulars and get a couple of packs as I have over 80 Indians so far

I liked the painting guide as well, looking forward to the release of the canadian militia.

About the size, on frothers the bloke who runs it said he was working on getting a comparison shot together but that he reckoned they'd be in between redoubt and perry:

"A lot of people are asking how they fit in for scale with other ranges, well, they're a bit shorter than Redoubt, though would match in pretty well overall (their woodland Indians that is - and a lot smaller than some of their stuff I've seen). I haven't actually got any Conquest models to compare alongside, although I do think they're very nice, but I'm told these are small compared to most, so I guess that'll apply to ours. Perrys' brilliant AWI I think are about same for size with the half range they did with Foundry, and those are a bit smaller than ours."

Thanks for bringing these to people's attention Lowtardog ;)
Re the size thing, as soon as I get some comparison pics, I'll let people know.

Plan to put up a couple of as yet unseen Canadian militia greens in the next few days.
