I mutted colors do make this a nice change from the flashy Nods I am used to. Very excellent execution.
Can we get better shots of the yellow guy? The Rhulic Jack.

Back home off shift and realised that there were no full frontal shots . . . . . . .  ;)

You'll see that on the critters, to speed things up, and so I don't get rediculously bored painting them in great numbers, I have kept the blending to a minimal and normally just use three stages. 1) Brown 2) 50/50 brown and Ushabti Bone 3) Ushabti Bone. At some point I will go back and neaten up some areas and possibly add a bit of Ushabti Bone mixed with white. The aim was to get these game ready, and as I have a few more broods, I tried to keep things simple.

Thanks for all of the kind compliments too. Gives me a bit more confidence moving forward, I might just try having a go at the 'fex next!

Might have to get another 'fex. This is the only one I have at the moment. Getting there slowly but surely.

:o Needs a hefty pair of walking boots, or possibly a baseball bat to swat, not a newspaper  lol

Seriously good mate, I like brown/sand colours for my nids

They look business. It is the best colour scheme for Nids I have ever seen.

Thanks for the praise!

I'm trying not to rush it as I will mess it up, talking of which, I had to gloss varnish what I had done so far as handling the beast was wearing some edges a little. So touched up and glossed with the progress on the claw.

And because I was asked nicely . . . . this one is also a WIP, I have to add weathering to it yet and finish the metal and, and, and . . . . .

As it will be part of my rogue trader style crew I will feature that more in a different thread at a later date once the bugs are sorted. ;)

So these have progressed a little since the last post. I put together a couple of videos of how I painted the pieces so far.

Four more before this squad is complete.
