28mm Crusades Project - Red Kerr-nig-ettes

Evening all,

With all the movement and reactions of a stunned mollusc Project Crusades spues forth another unit.

This time is a 12 figure Fireforge Games Teutonic Knights set which has been made up as a mid 13th Century Hospitaller unit.

Using the Battle Flag Decals to make life "easier" these took some doing but here is the finished unit.

First game expected sometime in the future !

Regards Ken

I recommend Alfred Duggans " Knight with Armour " for a flavour of the 1st Crusade and.        " Count Behomund " .  Lovely figures , by the way , I enjoy your blog .

I think that's the first time I've seen anyone use the red uniform. It does look good, doesn't it? (Not sure about the morgenstern flails, mind you).

Alfred Duggan would have to be my favourite non-fiction author, all his books are great!
