Amazingly, the engine-powered Monowheel is an actual vehicle from early 30s:

Oh man, this reminds me! The other day I saw a kid riding a ebike unicycle - it was literally just a wheel with two pegs sticking out the sides!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Wow! Love that poster. May have to print one.  ;)

Dave, what you have to print ASAP is the PULP ALLEY RALLY book!  ;)

Nic really has to have a proper release of this.

Will there be hard copies of the rules at the store this friday for the open day?

Ordered print run from Peter (graphics dude) - hopefully will have it this week. Also waiting on turning templates done by Viv at Knights of Dice.

Will sell both rulebook and template together.

If the stars align, and everything gets done in time, I'll rush em over to Nic's before Friday... (didn't realise it was Open Day already!)

Last pic from me...

For the life of me, I can't remember who did these... guys from Nunawading Wargames Assoc?

@Scurv - sounds good. I'll see when I can come in (or when swmbo allows me, I should say).

Good picture of the cars "in the rough" from Mana presses Facebook

Right now there are 3 regular car bodies, (only 2 shown) with 3 modular grills and all sorts of goodies for customizing them. (such as duck-foot spitfire exhausts!) And then there is the Golden arrow land speed vehicle used as the car of the titular Maximilian.

The driver models are superbly sculpted and full of character. You could slap them down on anything and make it look like a mean racing machine by their presence alone.

Playing this very game, with some lovely but badly painted miniatures, at the club on Thursday and got to play it last week as part of my job!

And yes, Nic, get promoting this range, it really is excellent!

That is the unvarnished truth - they're the best part of all this. Who's the sculptor, I wonder? Anyone know?

I should take offence since they are the only thing I didn't make about the cars, but you are absolutely right. I shall ask Nic next time we exchange email.

Nearly all those vehicles are painted, designed and constructed by the wonderful Ty Chapman.
We are taking the best of the ideas, with his permission and making them suitable for production.
The figures and cars will be the next thing on the web site, this was all planned for the end of September, but as often happens, the gun was jumped!

The price of success, Nic?  ;) How nice to be popular!  :D

Seriously though, I hope this proves serendipitous, rather than a problem for production. I know there's only so many hours in a day, and production often needs to be tightly scheduled, sometimes leaving little room for the unexpected.

But what did you expect, after coming up with such a lovely line of models?  ;)

Nice work on the cars!

Thank you very much! Though I felt quite humbled by your own 3d printer pulp car offerings.  :-*
