Separate Corinthian Helmet Heads in 28mm
« on: September 06, 2017, 08:51:02 PM »
My google-fu has failed me, does anyone produce a headpack like this?  It seems like Warlord has pulled the Immortal Miniatures hoplite box from their store as well, so that option is out...

Some company, maybe Micro Art Studio?, may have done resin ones years ago, although those are probably no longer in production nowadays. Some sets have quite a few spares however, so it may be worth asking on the trade page? I think the Victrix peltast set for example has both enough helmeted and unarmoured heads for all figures (or near enough), some of which I'm pretty sure of Corinthian design. How many do you need?

Scibor Miniatures have a range of "Spartan" i.e. Greek helmet sprues, here, here, and here.
Not the most historically accurate, and you might want to check their size beforehand – the Immortal hoplites you intended to use differ from most other ranges out there. Failing that Victrix is probably the best option. Trade requests please at the Bazaar.

I might be able to help you out - just let me have a look in the spares box.

I would need quite a few, at least a couple of dozen.  I was thinking of putting together some Lion/Dragon Rampant forces based on the movie Willow, and the goodies in that movie wear Corinthian helmets.
Seems asking around the marketplace may be my best bet. Thanks all!  :)

Hoard'obits has hoplite heads - Corinthian helmets with transverse and sagital crests.

I can't get a link to the specific page, but the search engine is easy to use
