warlord frod, that's a very nice scenario, I'll keep that in mind, cheers.
Thanks, Mad Lord Snapcase. It has always been a hoot so if you use it post pics.
Another one I have used with four players we called "good times in cow town".
1. Gang one - Cattlemen who had just brought their cattle into town and wanted to have a night of celebration gambling and drinking at the bar while the Trail boss was tasked with taking the money earned for the cattle to the bank.
2. Gang two - The Law - Tasked with keeping the peace of course. The marshal was given an outlaw bounty poster and if that figure came into his line of sight he was told he had to arrest him
3. Gang three - Outlaws who were given three target choices (Bank, Land office or hotel) and told to rob one while the cattlemen where raising a ruckus.
4. Gang four - Indians who were in town to enjoy a little firewater at the bar and rustle cattle by stampeding the heard
Giving various objectives keeps the players engaged in ways that lead to a wide variety of actions and not simply gunfights. The drunk cowboys were amazingly funny and the stamped laid waste to several figures caught up in it.
One outlaw decided to hold up the cattlemen at the bar and that lead them to try and get their money back after he left the bar. The law of course ws trying to arrest drunks outlaws and indians for a host of different reasons.
Here is a couple of pictures of that game
