Wow, those are two great conversions.  I'd always been interested in the monowheel from that Steam Boy set, but I never looked at the other models with any great appreciation.  You've opened my eyes.

Thanks. I can't take credit for the paint job as that was what was on the toy. But it will probably stay in that general scheme when it gets painted.

Sorry the picture above the last one shows a different colour. Is there two versions?
Still like how you have modified yours.

Each of the toys come in two different color schemes, painted or bronze. When I bought the box I got a random selection that worked out tow about two of each toy.

What a great thread.

You seem to be especially productive at the moment Mike. An excellent conversion on that steam tractor. I myself have a bucketful of the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars stuff to convert, including a couple of the droid wheels from Clone Wars which I thought I might turn into my French unicycle artillery. You are certainly getting me inspired to do it now.

On another note good to hear that the moulds for your buildings are coming along. I shall stand in line with Dewbakuk for a set. Please post those pics when you can, plus any shots from your big game.

Thanks for sharing!

Any update pics of the surface ships?

I scratched up some torpedo launchers last night. The torpedo boats will pay a visit to the shop this afternoon and maybe get primed tomorrow. More pics after that.

Can someone give me an idea of the size of the Steamboy monowheel - how does it compare to 28mm figures?

Foundry DA figure. The wheel is elevated about  a base thickness higher due to the clear plastic stand its on.
