Empress Miniatures British Infantry marching
« on: April 02, 2009, 12:53:25 PM »

Got these at Salute on Saturday. The 13th Somerset Light Infantry to escort my Baggage wagons ~

I got the General Service Wagon from Redoubt, the Oxen from Dixon and the drivers from Foundry.

You've made all the purchases on my Empress wishlist so I am a little jealous. Wish they were coming to Triples and then I could get a few more packs with the p&p monies.

Looking good. I was looking at wagons in a book earlier today and wondering how to do them. Yours works wonderfully.

Keep them coming.     Svennn

Now you need a Jack Hawkins figure trying to turn the wagon over single-handed...  ;)

Actually, that'd be a pretty cool figure.... ::)

Any figure based on Jack Hawkins would be uber cool ideally something from The League of Gentleman ( the real one, not the flim flam with Sean C.)

Very nice work on what appear to be very nice figures.

Oh and for those unfamilar with the flick:

One of my favourite films, right up there alongside Rex Harrison in The Rakes's Progress

Too far "Oop North!" I'd guess, for a newish company. Or perhaps they could n't get in? I wonder if they'll be at Partizan in May?

Yes, probably true. I assume they will try and consolidate a bit more in civilised lands and then expand into the wilderness  ;)

Shame they couldn't have "piggybacked" with another company, as Warlord have done with Stratagem/Wargames Illustrated. At least I'll get a box of ECW figures  :D
