I was thrown off because white knight mentioned he'd repainted the animals to work with 30mm minis.

No, I mentioned using them with 1/28 - 1/30 scale minis, which translates to about 65-66mm.  ;)

I think that was sorted a while back, but no harm done with further clarification.  lol

This months Narrow Gauge World magazine has an article written by me detailing how I scratch-built a freelance Shay. The model is built to the scale of 1:27.7 or 11mm = 1 foot.

For more information, see the Blog.

Wow! This is just fantastic work. I have wanted a narrow gauge train for my boards for a long time. This one really does it for me!

Narrow Gauge World magazine - issue 154 from January/February 2021 has another article written by me showing progress on my latest narrow gauge railway layout - The Yellow Pelican Mining Co.

The article shows how I scratch built a rake of three narrow gauge ore wagons from plastic card and wire and based on a HO-OO wagon.

For more information - see the Blog or pick up a copy of Narrow Gauge World.

The Yellow Pelican railway layout is progressing well and images and information can be found on the Blog.

At this moment most of the detail is about how the layout was planned and the baseboard was constructed, but I have now added the Peco O-16.5 track so there is something to see.

Very promising start. I have yet to start my first building in this scale, though I've been wanting to for some time now.

I have added corrugated iron roofing sheets to the roof of the main building. The sheets were made from aluminium food containers and corrugated with a simple paper creasing machine picked up in The Works.
