I have started the construction of my latest 1:27.7 scale steam engine. The model is based on the Hornby 0-4-0 or 'Smokey Joe' chassis and built from plastic card, scrap wood and odd plastic pieces from my 'spares box'.

Today's Blog post shows the engine nearing completion and ready for paint. I have been busy adding rivets, bits and pieces from my 'spares box' and generally 'busying up' the model.
