More Reaper Pulp figures painted up: Jack & Jill Daring and pals
« on: September 17, 2017, 04:55:26 PM »
Latest project, four-figure set of Reaper's Bones figs.

Jack Daring, his sister Jill, a Saharan Death Worm, and a camel named Pharaoh.

Makes a nice little encounter group, I'm particularly fond of the dynamic pose on our two-gun hero and the worm itself.

Pharaoh is taking things calmly since (like all camels) he's a hyperintelligent telepathic polymath and well aware of the fact that Saharan Death Worms hate the taste of camel.

The Daring siblings are rather more edible, but Pharaoh's fond of Jill so she'll probably be all right no matter how things go for Jack.

The baggage on Pharaoh is a separate piece and the model is fully detailed where it covers him, so you can use the base fig without it if desired.

Might even be able to magnetize it, although I didn't bother in this case and just glued it in place.

Thanks!  Think the camel's my favorite sculpt here as well, although it's kind of a shame we'll probably never see variant baggage sets or rider figures - or at least not until they run a KS with a desert themed subset.  The worm's also an old favorite.  I must've done two dozen of them by now, with many elaborate conversions of the base model.

Hopefully they sell for me.  EBay's been kind of slow lately.
